Traffic Law
- Meyers Law handles any citation you receive including, but not limited to speeding averaging 5-19 mph over the limit to excessive speed 20 mph or more the posted speed limit (which is a Class B misdemeanor in Missouri, with penalty range up to $1000 fine and up to 6 months in jail). We have assisted with several tickets traveling in excess of 120mph.
- Commercial Driver (CDL) violations including standard traffic violations, but also logbook, overweight, defective equipment, and not having the required license or endorsement. William Meyers was an officer at a Medical Review Office (MRO) in the 1990s and attended multiple commercial driver industry conferences.
- Alcohol related offences including Minor in Possession of Alcohol (MIP) Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) open container, etc.
- Accident related charges including Failure to Yield, Following Too Close, Careless and Imprudent Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, etc. We assist drivers dealing with their insurance companies, courts, and any related suspensions.
- Driving While Suspended or Revoked violations, we help determine the cause of the suspension or revocation and assist in resolving same and reinstating the person’s driving privilege.
Estate Planning
Meyers Law can help families with net worth under 11.4 Million, including, but not limited to Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Healthcare Directives, HIPAA Privacy Authorization, Beneficiary Deeds, Warranty Deeds, Quitclaim Deeds, Specific Funeral/Burial Directives. We assist individuals and families to continue their lives with the peace of mind knowing their wishes and instructions will be observed in case they are incapable of handing themselves due to temporary, long term or permanent incapacity. We encourage clients to keep us informed of their life changes, the good and bad, so we can maintain the currency of their estate plans.
